- Upper Cumberland Meetings and Special Events
Since the last update:
- former president and this year’s presidential candidate, Donald Trump, narrowly escapes an assassination attempt,
- an innocent rally attendee is murdered in front of his family and several others critically injured,
- the RNC had a fantastic convention and introduced the VP nominee,
- the Democrat on the presidential ballot changed his mind and is no longer running for president,
- the Democrats promote a candidate to the ballot without bothering to allow citizens to vote,
- the presumptive democrat nominee hijacks the former candidate’s war chest of campaign cash,
- our current president is MIA or AWOL or ?,
- the vice president is very busy erasing prior policy positions and performance records as if they were on an Etch-A-Sketch
- the next presidential debate was scheduled, cancelled, rescheduled and now is uncertain
- the stock market took a tumble
- the Olympic planners offended everyone and again rewarded a man in a women’s sporting event
Have you had enough? Are you motivated to get busy?
We’ve got WORK to do and there are jobs for Everyone!
Good News! RNC was a great success, Republican Candidates advance to November!
What can YOU do?
GO!
Teams are forming to go to battleground states. If you have an available week in October and energy to block walk for approx. 4 miles a day, this is the job for you!
MAKE CALLS!
You can begin today to make calls to voters in other states to help Get Out the Vote efforts. You select the state and the amount of time to make the calls. If you have strong internet reception and are willing to make this type of contact, this is the the job for you!
DONATE!
If you do not have a flexible schedule but want to support Tennessee teams deploying to these battleground states, this is the job for you!
Did you know that 1 in 3 Christians do not vote reliably? That could be as many as 25 million American voters sitting out the election. YOU can make a difference. Go to the link below and sign up to be a part of a letter writing campaign. Pledge for the number of letters you wish to send. When you get the confirmation of your commitment, you will receive a list of names and the letter to send. You make copies of the letter, personalize the letter and an envelope, stamp it and send at the designated time in your instructions. Your part is to make the copies, obtain envelopes and stamps. You CAN do this and recruit others to help!
Congratulations to all Federal and State Republican nominees!
