Next week, the first Republican meetings of 2022 will kick off! This is a really big election year in the Upper Cumberland! Voters in Tennessee will elect US Representatives, the Governor, State Representatives and State Senators (in odd-numbered districts), local elected officials and all judicial positions. Everyone’s district boundaries have shifted thanks to adjustments brought about by the 2020 census results. In some counties, school board elections will be primary races for the first time. Candidates and the voting public are currently checking on the announced changes in local and state house district lines. We’re all awaiting announcements of state senate and US representative redistricting.
In the meantime, there’s PLENTY to do and it all starts by getting engaged with the local GOP! There are NO unimportant elections. Candidates at all levels are out and about and they all want to meet YOU! Get your calendar out and save the dates to attend the monthly meetings!

While we have unseasonably warm temperatures this week, know that winter weather and road conditions may interfere with meetings. Double check social media the day of the meeting for any last minute announcements!
