Because Congress has declined the Democrat Administration’s frequent calls to rewrite Title IX, the department now seeks to expand its federal nondiscrimination protections through rescission of a previous Title IX rule and publication of a new one—while masquerading the process as a simple clarification.
You have until September 12th (yes, that’s MONDAY) to comment regarding the proposed rule change.
It is critically important to have as many comments submitted as possible! These examples of implications of the rule change should motivate you!
- Actions like using a child’s given name and biologically accurate pronoun instead of a preferred name and pronoun my be regarded as ‘sex-based harassment’.
- Gender identity ideology will be promoted in schools as mandated policy, encouraging students to believe that they can be ‘born in the wrong body’. Many children will then pursue chemical and surgical alterations that have irreversible life-altering consequences like sterility and life-long sexual dysfunction.
- K-12 schools will be required to support socially transitioning children to a different gender without requiring notice to parents, the involvement of medical professionals or legal documentation.
- Child protective services will receive calls to challenge parents who uphold biological reality.
- Schools would be required to permit males who identify as females to use privacy facilities set aside for females and vice versa.
- Sports teams will be based on gender identity instead of biological sex.
- School districts will be forced to adopt policies that compel students and staff to refer to others as something other than their sex.
- Title IX Coordinators will have new authority to enforce the new mandates. These coordinators will decide whether to make a complaint against a school official or another student, even if a child does not want to do so.

JOIN the CROSSVILLE Mighty American Strike Force Team!
The Mighty American Strike Force is made up of volunteers from all over the country who go to battleground states to knock doors for Republican Candidates. The most effective strike force recently put into action helped propel Glen Younkin into the governor’s seat in Virginia in 2020! In 2020, TN Strike Force had teams in GA, NC and PA. This Election cycle TN will concentrate on Georgia. We have a Governor, Senate and several House races to win that can make a huge difference in stopping the reckless Biden agenda.
How does a strike force team work?
Each team has a team captain and drivers for team members. Ideally, teams have 10,12,14,16, or 18 team members. The reason for even numbers is to have two sharing a hotel room. Strike Force state coordinators select hotels that serve breakfast and ask the County Party or Women’s Club of the assigned county to provide a sack lunch for each team member. Team members are responsible for expenses of getting to their assigned site and one meal per day.
Can’t go but want to help?
The TNGOP has a separate account for donations. The Crossville Team will have a line item for the money raised for your team. Each captain will use a credit card and keep all receipts to turn in for reimbursement.
When do we go?
We have narrowed down to two potential weeks. Our goal is a team of 10 to 18 individuals. Teams arrive at their destination on Sunday afternoons and work through the week.
Potential weeks for a Crossville Team to go to Georgia:
October 16-22 or October 23-29
The first time slot to fill 10 openings will be the team that goes! Or maybe we can fill BOTH weeks! Wouldn’t that be fantastic?

Bob and Genese Sapp have graciously offered to host this get together at their lovely home that overlooks our beautiful Sequatchie Valley.
When: 4 to 7 pm Saturday, October 8th

What: Chili and Hot Dogs! Please bring a side dish, a dessert and a chair!
Directions: Look for Mile Marker 7 on the guard rail on the south side of SR 30 west. Drive across the pond dam.
And LOOK! Two fun events at two famous family farms in the Cumberland area! You can attend both of these events on Saturday, September 17th. It’s just an hour’s drive from the Rose Family Farm to the Miller Farm!
