The Presumptive Nominee – Donald J. Trump!
With only 149 additional delegates to secure the majority needed for the Republican Nomination, Donald J. Trump is the presumptive nominee. This week, Washington State will have their primary with 43 delegates up for grabs. On March 19th, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Kansas and Ohio will have their primaries with a total of 350 delegates. With the current lead demonstrated by former President Trump, the count will be official before April.
Who are the Tennessee Delegates for Donald J. Trump?
Because former President Donald Trump won by a substantial percentage in both the statewide and district 6 presidential preference primary, he will receive all the allocated delegates in Tennessee. The Tennessee Republican Party will appoint an additional 14 delegates in the April SEC meeting.

Now what?
All the delegates elected in their respective states will convene in July at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee! All delegates are committed to vote for their presidential candidate through two election cycles (if needed) at the convention. With this overwhelming majority held by President Trump, it’s doubtful that more than one vote count will be needed in July. For the skeptics out there, rest assured that the elected delegates will hold one another accountable to remain true to their commitment. While not all names are well known, every delegate candidate was vetted by the Trump campaign. It’s unimaginable that any delegate would stand still for any shenanigans by another delegate!
Republican National Committee – New Leadership Elected
The Republican National Committee met to elect new leadership this past Thursday. Your representatives on the RNC are TN GOP Chair Scott Golden, National Committeewoman Beth Campbell and National Committeeman Oscar Brock. This newsletter shared info about the new chairman, Michael Whatley and co-chair, Lara Trump. Here’s an interesting account from the RNC meeting:
Let’s help these strong leaders by joining with them for a win in November! You can start now by having sincere discussions with friends, neighbors and family to support the Republican nominee. Remember – we want unity NOT uniformity! We can have our differences on certain issues but seek agreement to support our candidate!
