GOP! This is the Goal!

What Are You Doing to Help in 2024?

In Tennessee, local and presidential primaries are in the books. In some counties, there are no Democrat or Independent candidates for the local races, so the Republicans are unchallenged in August. IF you have non-Republican challengers to your local Republican candidates, it’s time to reach out and help them succeed! August primary and the general ballot deadline is Thursday, April 4th. Stay alert to know who’s on the ballot, choose your favorites and plan to help them win!

One way you can help is to inform yourself. A great way to do so is to show up at your local GOP meetings. Candidates knock themselves out to attend these meetings and engage with voters. Meet them part way by showing up, shaking their hand, attending their meet-n-greets, or HOST a meet-n-greet! Everyone running for office can always use contributions. All forms of advertising are expensive, whether it’s signs, traditional or social media ads, or purchasing aids for phone calls/texts. Everyone also can use volunteers – let candidates know of your availability and the type of volunteer activity that you can handle!

Local GOP’s may be opening offices or setting up booths at community events. Make sure you are receiving their newsletters or following their social media and sign up! “Many hands make light work!” Everyone has busy schedules these days, but we can lighten the load by responding to recruitment efforts!

Republican National Committee – New Leadership is Getting Results!

In the beginning of March, the Republican National Committee (RNC) elected Michael Whatley as chairman and Lara Trump co-chair. You’ve likely heard about the shakeup at the Republican National headquarters where staffers were asked to resign and reapply for their positions. Fundraising, an area that was suffering prior to the changeup, has significantly picked up already. Republicans are more willing to open their pocketbooks and wallets with the fresh leadership and increased accountability over spending!
