Opportunities to help others and Volunteer for TN District 7 nominee
With the government shutdown going into month two, SNAP benefits are unavailable to almost 42 million people nationwide. Tennesseans make up approximately 690,000 of those participating in the food assistance program. FeedTN – a collaboration with Second Harvest, United Way, Catholic Charities, Chattanooga Food Bank, Mid-South Food Bank, and hundreds of community and faith organizations, and supported by the Governor’s Faith-Based and Community Initiative – is a single-entry platform connecting people in every county to trusted, local food relief efforts. The website provides food bank locations for those in need and also opportunities to donate or volunteer.
7th District Congressional Election – Nov. 12th through 26th, Election Day on December 2nd
Matt Van Epps, the Republican nominee for the seat vacated by Dr. Mark Green’s resignation, is a decorated combat veteran and West Point graduate ready to serve Tennessee families and advance President Trump’s America First agenda. Volunteers and Donations welcome at his website.
