What’s at Stake: It Matters Who Governs
The voter turnout for our May primary was incredibly low. Don’t let just 10% to 15% of the community decide the future of the issues you care about most!
From local decisions made right here in our hometown to the direction of our state and country, every single seat on the ballot affects your day-to-day life.
Do not sit out the August 2026 election! Take control of your vote, protect your community, and make time to attend local campaign events to meet the candidates in person. Here’s what’s on that August ballot:
Local Leadership: From School Board to County Mayor, and Road Superintendent to County Sheriff. These local officials impact your life, your wallet, and your neighborhood most directly.
State Representative and Senate: The state body that is responsible for Tennessee’s state budget and all state legislation certainly should be those who share your values!
Tennessee Governor: The governor holds immense authority over state agencies and plays an impactful role in collaboration with the General Assembly.
U.S. House of Representatives: A critical line of defense for national recovery and restoring strong, common-sense leadership in Congress.
Your community, your state, your vote. See you at the polls!
